The Felsentor Staff

GÜNTER ILLNER
Since the late 1970's Günter has spent numerous years living in christian, interdenominational and buddhist communities. Most recently he helped with the setup of the Puregg - Haus der Stille in Dienten, Austria, before moving to the USA to study for four years at the San Francsico Zen Center. He has been the director of Felsentor since 2002.

RICHARD KOSHO ZENKI
Richard began studying Zen in 1983 and has spent most of the ensuing years in either Zen communities or centers which focus on interreligious dialogue. He was ordained as a Zen priest at the San Francisco Zen Center in 1988. From 1989-91 he helped with the setup of Puregg - Haus der Stille Meditation Center in Dienten, Austria, after which he returned to the USA to continue his studies at Zen Center. During his years in temples and monasteries, he has worked in various areas, including Head Cook at Tassajara and Manager of the Guest and Conference Center at Green Gulch Farm. He is currently the Felsentor office manager.

SCHWESTER THERESIA RABERGER
Theresia has been a member of the Franciscan order since 1978. She is in charge of the Felsentor animal rights division.

AMAN RAHIMI
is from Afghanistan, the youngest of the group and with us since October 2006. Despite his difficult arrival in Switzerland as an asylum-seeker he did not lose his humor and his friendliness and willingness to help greatly enriches our house group.

MIRO LUCCHI
Miro has been a member of the staff since September 2006. His sunny disposition and easygoing manner drives the shadows from our house. He is responsible for the guest areas and assists in the kitchen.

RONALD APPELT
...and what my hands touch can also be hot iron, which doesn't hurt as much as soap bubbles, my hands are not so fine... from Dresden.

SUSANNE DECKER
Susanne Decker came to us for different reasons: 'I appreciate the contact with people and the impressive natural beauty of Felsentor brings me ever closer to real life. In addition, with the many-faceted face of Felsentor, it gives me the possibility to practice two of my favorite things; cooking and photography.'
